Political Prisoners Condemn the Crime of Starvation in Gaza
A number of political prisoners have expressed, through posts and voice messages, their condemnation of the crime of starvation in Gaza.
Political prisoner Alaa Al-Samea said: “We are the most worthy of expressing Husayni-Zaynabi rejection of the blatant injustice in Gaza.”
Political prisoner Ibrahim Al-Asfour said: “To whom it may concern, hundreds of families from our people in Gaza are dying of hunger. Did you not see those scenes of people desperately scrambling for food in such a humiliating manner? Can you imagine your own mother or sister in that condition?”
Political prisoner Montathar Al-Ajimi said: “We are accountable for our silence in the face of the tragedies in Gaza. If God were to ask you on the Day of Judgment, what would your answer be—when you had the power to act, even with just a word?”
Political prisoner Sayyed Adnan said: “Would you accept for your daughter to go to bed without food even for a single day? O you who possess honor, there are thousands of children sleeping hungry for months. Save the children of Gaza from death, hunger, and displacement.”
Political prisoner Ali Al-Oraibi said: “Whoever is not moved by the suffering of the people of Gaza will never be moved by any crime or story. Awaken the dead consciences within you and act, even in the smallest of ways.”
Political prisoner Hashem Hassan said: “What is happening to our people in Gaza is a disgrace on the foreheads of the normalizers and traitors of the Arab nation. Where are those who claim Arabism and Islam? Does Islam command you to remain silent in the face of oppression, or are you Zionists in Arab clothing?”
It is worth noting that the political prisoners in Jaw Central Prison recently launched a solidarity campaign with the people of Gaza, condemning the starvation war waged by the Zionist entity against them, under the slogan: “Our Silence is a Crime.”
