The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition has
issued its Weekly Position, which reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Coalition extends its highest
respect and profound appreciation for the popular uprising that swept
through various regions of Bahrain in recent days, marking the eighth
anniversary of the storming of Al-Fidaa Square in Diraz and the martyrdom
of a distinguished group of Bahrain’s heroic youth who stood steadfast in
defense of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim (may God preserve him), setting a
noble example of resilience and sacrifice for religion and belief.
We emphasize that the Khalifi regime’s forces’ repression of this year’s
anniversary commemorations was nothing but an expression of their shock
at the ongoing popular fervor and the failure of all their attempts to erase
the people’s presence in the squares and their adherence to their divine
leadership represented by Ayatollah Qassim. The people’s unwavering
readiness to respond to the call to defend the nation’s identity and
authenticity in the face of the Khalifi regime’s project to impose foreign
domination, spread alienation, and forcibly drag the country into the
international bullying led by the United States is clear.
We record the following key points in the Weekly Position in light of the
ongoing events and recent developments:
1- The Khalifi regime believed that its programs and plans to impose
security control over the local reality, to suppress opposition forces,
and its American- and British-backed efforts to dismantle the popular
and revolutionary movement in the country would ultimately lead to
subjugating the people and forcing them to abandon the February 14
Revolution and its legitimate goals. However, the Khalifis were met
with bitter disappointment in the face of the people’s vigilance,
awareness, and ability to overcome suffering and challenges. We
proudly affirm that our beloved people remained faithful to their
leader, Ayatollah Qassim, who declared years ago that the people
“will not sign a charter of servitude, humiliation, and disgrace.” This
profound loyalty manifested clearly in the people’s ability to foil years-
long schemes aimed at dismantling their bond with their leadership
and symbols, isolating the new generation from their blessed
revolution, and instilling despair, defeat, and retreat. Yet all these
efforts were in vain. Popular solidarity and cohesion succeeded in
keeping the flame of the revolution alive, transforming pain and
adversity into new opportunities to revive the people’s strength and
revolutionary presence. This year’s renewal of the covenant with the
leadership and the revolution thus stands as a crowning moment of
the people’s victory over the tyrant, his mercenaries, and his
protectors. We place all this within our firm conviction that “the flood
is coming”—stronger than the criminals could ever imagine.
2- The Khalifi entity’s mercenaries’ crackdown on citizens
commemorating the “Al-Fidaa Square Massacre” demonstrates, first
and foremost, that this entity remains steadfast in its crimes and
hostility toward the people and their symbols. Its attempts to polish its
image for international audiences have collapsed entirely, as its
deeply ingrained nature of murder and terrorism continues to
overpower any superficial posturing around human rights.
Second, the renewed scene of brutal assaults on women, children,
and the elderly—and the pursuit and abuse of young men in
alleyways—confirms that the Khalifi regime perceives the people’s
loyalty to their leadership, martyrs, identity, and faith as a clear
indication of the utter failure of its project to uproot and erase that
identity. This resounding failure has once again driven the regime to
unleash its brutality in a campaign of vengeance against the
demonstrators.
Third, it is evident that the recent visit of the criminal Donald Trump to
the region, and his meeting with the Gulf tyrants, emboldened the
tyrant Hamad and reassured him in repeating the crime of storming
Diraz and brutalizing protesters. This was further reinforced by the
visit of U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, the warm
welcome she received from the tyrant, and her meeting with the
Khalifi Interior Minister, the criminal Rashid. Noem is widely known for
her hardline security policies and her staunch support for the Zionist
entity—facts that help explain the recent escalation in repression
across Bahrain, particularly the intensifying crackdown on political
prisoners and revolutionary leaders held as hostages. All of this
reinforces our conviction that the Americans and Zionists are directly
managing the machinery of political repression and the war on
identity in Bahrain—just as they are orchestrating the genocide taking
place in Palestine, especially in Gaza.
3- We extend our condolences to our people in Bahrain on the passing
of His Eminence Sheikh Abdulnabi Al-Dirazi (Abu Taqi), and we
express our heartfelt sympathy to his family and brothers who stood
alongside him in the early days of Islamic activism in Bahrain. The
late Sheikh was a founding figure in the contemporary Islamic
movement in the country and, together with his brothers, helped lay
the groundwork for the consciousness and Islamic awakening that
emerged in the 1970s. He also played a direct role in confronting
tyranny and in affirming the identity and authentic heritage of this
nation and its deep-rooted history. We call upon all our people to take
part in large numbers in the funeral procession, to attend the
condolence gatherings, and to honor and preserve his virtuous legacy
in the blessed path of religious and political work.
4- On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the liberation of South
Lebanon from the defilement of Zionist occupation, we extend our
warmest congratulations and blessings to the honorable Lebanese
people and their brave, self-sacrificing Resistance. We remember the
Leader of the Resistance and the Master of Liberation, the most
revered martyr, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may Allah’s
pleasure be upon him), who, alongside his fellow martyred leaders,
ushered in the era of great victories and shattered the myth of the
“invincible army.” Commemorating this anniversary, glorifying it, and
holding firmly to its lessons and profound meanings is the proper
response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and Palestine, and to the
continued aggression against Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria. Despite
all this aggression and the unrelenting Zionist threats against the
Resistance, its Axis, and its peoples, this Ummah will continue to
view that entity as “weaker than a spider’s web”—a temporary
construct that must inevitably vanish. The Resistance will remain a
steadfast and enduring path, generation after generation, upholding
the will of the Martyr of the Ummah and remaining faithful to the
covenant made with him and the martyred leaders, under the banner
of “On the Path to al-Quds,” until the great liberation, by Allah’s
permission.
