The February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued a statement on the
occasion of the 25th anniversary of Lebanon’s Resistance and Liberation
Day, which reads as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
May 25 is a day when the anthem of the South rises once again, and the
torch of dignity is reignited — the very torch lit by men who were true to
their covenant with God. Men who carried rifles on their shoulders and faith
in their hearts, forging with their pure blood the dawn of victory, and writing
with the ink of honor a glorious epic of liberation. Truly, they are the men of
God on the day of triumph in Lebanon.
We take this glorious occasion—the 25th anniversary of “Resistance and
Liberation Day”—to extend our highest congratulations, blessings, and
deepest respect to the resilient people of Lebanon, their valiant army, and
their sacred resistance, which has been the nation’s shield and sword, its
steadfast fortress against the ruthless Zionist aggression, and continues to
be so.
The Islamic resistance has proven that the noble weapon defending
freedom and dignity is not merely a tool of combat, but the highest
expression of the will of a people determined never to be violated, and of
the dignity of a homeland that refuses to be trampled. This blessed
weapon, tempered by the blood of martyrs and defended in its legitimacy
by the devoted leader, the master of the nation’s martyrs, His Eminence
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may God’s pleasure be upon him), is what
deterred the enemy, restored balance to the entire region, and established
a new era under the motto: Lebanon strong through its resistance, honored
by its weapon, and fortified by the patience of its people.
We, having drawn from this blessed occasion the lessons of dignity and
steadfastness, affirm that the choice of resistance remains the sole option
capable of deterring the Zionists and protecting the land and honor. Holding
fast to its noble weapon is a covenant from which there is no retreat, and a
duty that does not fade with time.
In this context, we in the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition, alongside
our proud people in Bahrain, reaffirm our unwavering support for Lebanon,
its people, and its noble resistance. With deep pride, we salute the
sacrifices of its men who held the nation’s head high, proved that the era of
defeats has come to an end, that the era of victories has begun, and that
the Zionist entity is on the path to demise.
