In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
With hearts heavy with sorrow yet firm in faith in Allah’s divine will and
decree, the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition mourns the mujahid
Sayyed Ahmad Hassan Shubar, a proud son of the steadfast town of
Karbabad and one of the wounded of the glorious February 14 Revolution.
He was among the first courageous individuals to answer the call of the
homeland, participating in the arenas of struggle with sincerity and
steadfast resolve. He was wounded by shotgun pellets during his
involvement in the revolutionary movement and subjected to arbitrary
detention, yet he remained steadfast, firmly believing in the justice of the
cause and the revolution’s goals of dignity, freedom, and independence. He
departed as a witness to the crimes of the Khalifa regime.
The revolutionary arenas have lost one of their proud and steadfast men
with the passing of Sayyed Ahmad. As we offer our deepest condolences
to his honorable family, the people of Karbabad in particular, and the
Bahraini people at large, we emphasize that the plight of the revolution’s
wounded remains deeply engraved in the conscience of this resilient
nation, and that the lasting injuries and continuous suffering endured by the
wounded stand as a permanent stain of shame upon the Khalifa regime,
which committed these violations against the sons of the homeland who
demand freedom and self-determination.
We ask Allah, the Almighty, to envelop the departed mujahid in His vast
mercy, grant him spacious gardens in Paradise, raise him among the
martyrs and the truthful, and inspire his family with patience and solace.
Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.
