The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition has
issued its Weekly Statement, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Today, May 12, marks the fourteenth anniversary of the February 14
Revolution Youth Coalition’s launch of the “Sacred Defense” era in Bahrain
— a response to the Khalifi entity’s escalating bloodshed and violations of
honor and sanctities, carried out with the support of Peninsula Shield
forces.
We mark this date with great pride and honor, considering it a glorious day
in the history of Bahrain’s revolution, which has offered the greatest
lessons in steadfastness and resilience, despite all the suffering, crimes,
and regional and international conspiracies. The revolutionary pioneers
were present in every field and square, answering the call of dignity and
defense. Our people and loyal youth proved that they are ready to defend
their honor, pride, religion, and dignity, standing firm against the machinery
of oppression, killing, and terrorism, recording the most magnificent epics
of heroism and sacrifice, no matter the cost.
We, in the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition, affirm that this era is
not a relic of the past, nor a temporary tactic, but a firmly rooted creed, born
from the core of our faith, our religion, and our Qur’an — which obliges us
to defend honor and sanctities. Death upon this path is a form of jihad, and
its people are adorned with the badge of martyrdom and eternity. The
banner of the “Sacred Defense” shall remain ever-present whenever the
religious obligation calls, under the guidance and direction of the righteous
religious leadership and authority.
In light of recent developments and unfolding events, we outline the
following points in our Weekly Statement:
1- We strongly condemn the visit of Ahmad al-Shar’a (al-Jolani) to our
country, Bahrain, and we view the invitation extended to him by the
tyrant Hamad and his occupying tribe as an insult to our people and
to their well-known legacy of standing against tyranny, terrorism, and
colonial subservience — the very traits al-Jolani embodies through
his involvement with extremist takfiri organizations. He remains
deeply entangled in these affiliations, even after entering the
presidential palace in Damascus with the backing of malicious
regional powers and foreign intelligence agencies. Yet we find it no
surprise that the tyrant Hamad would express affection and
admiration for al-Jolani, and that his criminal entity would be among
the first to reach out and congratulate the takfiri militants on their
seizure of power in Syria. After all, only a criminal rejoices in the
crimes of another, and only a tyrant, takfiri, and mercenary _ like
Hamad, his sons, and the members of his tribe _ could take pride in
such acts of tyranny, takfirism, and mercenarism.
We affirm, alongside our people in Bahrain, that al-Jolani and his
mercenaries are deeply involved in murder and takfiri terrorism. Their
history is tainted with complicity in carrying out the agendas of
Zionists and colonial powers, and their enmity toward the honorable
resistance in Lebanon is enough evidence to prove that they are tools
driven by an external agenda. They do not represent the noble Syrian
people, nor do they care for responding to their rightful demands for
freedom and justice. From the earliest days of al-Jolani’s control to
his unwelcome visit to our country, Bahrain, he has persistently and
shamelessly offered his loyalty to the Zionist occupation, imperialist
forces, and the tyrants of the Gulf, hoping to be granted membership
in the club of ” the Arab tyrant rulers.”
2- In the coming days, a U.S.-Gulf summit is expected to be held in
Riyadh, with the participation of the criminal Donald Trump. We view
this ominous summit with caution and concern, as it is hosted by the
Al Saud tribe to reaffirm its ongoing functional role in executing
American directives aimed at dominating and subjugating peoples,
their interests, and their values — in exchange for security
guarantees and the protection of thrones stained with blood and
corruption. The American devil is well-versed in deception and
betrayal. It has long practiced lies and hypocrisy, promoting hollow
slogans of human rights, while standing behind the most heinous
crimes across the globe. It has consistently provided cover for the
grave violations committed by Gulf entities, particularly the Saudi and
Khalifi entities. We recall Trump’s previous visit to Riyadh and a
similar summit with the tyrants of the Gulf, which coincided with the
crime of the brutal assault on peaceful protesters in al-Fida’ Square in
Diraz, Bahrain. Today, history repeats itself — with the Al Saud
intensifying their barbaric executions of innocent people, and the Al
Khalifa returning once again to launch new waves of repression and
arrests targeting opposition voices and activists in Bahrain. All of this
calls for heightened awareness and deep insight into the American-
Zionist conspiracies being woven across the region — on multiple
fronts.
3- Amid the intensifying wave of arbitrary arrests and unjust trials in
Bahrain, we reaffirm that the issue of political prisoners is a national
and humanitarian cause, and that all bear responsibility in striving to
secure the unconditional release of the detainees and the
revolutionary leaders held as hostages. This requires unwavering
efforts to organize initiatives, media campaigns, and political and
human rights activities — across all platforms, arenas, and countries
— until this humanitarian and human rights file are closed once and
for all. It must not be subjected to the political gambles of the Al
Khalifa regime, nor to the shifting regional dynamics driven by greed,
conspiracy, and the exploitation of peoples.
The renewed wave of repression and arrests will not fulfill the dreams
of the Khalifi clique, and the will of the people will not be broken by
the regime’s blackmail tactics using the plight of their loved ones
behind bars. Our people remain loyal to the noblest and most selfless
among them, and they will neither forget them nor allow them to
become pawns in cheap political bargains. Full and unconditional
freedom is their rightful due. In this context, we express our support
for all solidarity campaigns with political prisoners, and let the slogan
“Until the Last Prisoner” serves as a practical call to action for the
liberation of all beloved detainees from the regime’s prisons. We urge
active participation in all related programs and events, both inside the
country and abroad.
4- With the religious scholars of Bahrain announcing this year’s theme
for the upcoming sacred month of Muharram under the title “Faith and
Dignity”, we call upon all the people of Bahrain — especially the
caretakers of Husayni matams and processions — to actively prepare
for this great, Husseini and Zeinabi month. Let us remain “true to the
pledge” with the goals of Imam Hussein (peace be upon Him), in
defending the values of Islam and its Muhammadan message —
foremost among them, the resistance to injustice and tyranny. Let the
mourning congregations and processions of chest-beating serve as
platforms for Karbala-inspired mobilization against the system of
despotism and corruption in Bahrain, and as a space to preserve the
authentic identity of Ashura’s commemoration. We must also firmly
reject any attempt to interfere with or dominate this sacred
remembrance under any pretext — especially in light of the new law
issued by the Khalifi entity, which seeks to tighten control over what is
published on web platforms, the only remaining refuge for the people
to express their beliefs and sacred rituals amid the systematic
falsification, distortion, and exclusion imposed by the occupying Al
Khalifa.
