The Women’s Committee of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition
held its 12th speech festival under the slogan “We remain true to the
Pledge, O Al-Quds” on the occasion of International Quds Day.
The festival opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by
speeches from various figures and participants from Arab and Islamic
countries, in addition to the free women of Bahrain and the Women’s
Committee of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition.
From occupied Palestine, activist and member of the Women’s Struggle
Bloc, Nadia Abdul Aal, saluted the nations that stand in solidarity with
Palestine and its people. She shed light on the suffering of Palestinian
women amid the ongoing genocide, as they bear the full consequences of
Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people—from fearing for their
children to enduring life in tents, lacking healthcare services, facing
instability, and being constantly displaced.
From the Islamic Republic of Iran, writer and researcher in philosophy
Maryam Mirzadeh stated that International Quds Day is a day when all
oppressed nations—not just the Palestinian people—experience a sense of
recovery and retribution. She emphasized that this day was declared by
Imam Khomeini (Quddisa Sirruh) as a renewal of the pledge to the cause,
countering the infamous Balfour Declaration, which arrogantly granted
Palestine to the Zionists. Thus, International Quds Day became a set day
for its liberation and a sincere promise of victory. Mirzadeh saluted the
people of Bahrain, especially its free women, praising their honorable
stance in support of the Palestinian cause.
From Iraq, Amina Mahdi, artistic director at the Popular Mobilization Forces
(PMF) Media Directorate, described International Quds Day as a brilliant
initiative launched by Imam Khomeini and carried forward by Leader
Sayyed Khamenei. She explained that it is a seed that continues to grow
through the annual commemoration of this day, ensuring that the cause
remains alive in the hearts of future generations. She pointed out that one
of the key outcomes of Quds Day is that the Palestinian cause has become
deeply rooted in the hearts of nations and future generations, making it a
central issue for them. Those who have stepped forward to support Gaza in
battle are the very ones who have commemorated Quds Day over the
years, whereas those who have neglected its observance have remained
passive in this struggle. She emphasized that the Axis of Resistance is the
result of preserving Islamic unity, despite relentless attempts by the enemy
to dismantle it.
From Yemen, writer and media activist Zainab Al-Dailami stated that
International Quds Day is not merely an annual occasion commemorated
by nations; rather, it is the day when truth resounded against the Zionist
enemy. She explained that Imam Khomeini (Quddisa Sirruh) revived
nations through this day, guiding them to realign their compass toward the
holiest sanctity. Through this, the entire world converges toward a singular,
noble goal. She emphasized that, thanks to this initiative, ‘’International
Quds Day’’ became the first cornerstone of the Great Quranic Project in
Yemen, marked by the first lecture delivered by the founder of the Quranic
Project, the martyr Sayyed Hussein Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi (Ridhwan Allah
Alayh). Al-Dailami then addressed the American and Zionist enemies,
declaring: “No matter how much you amass in weapons, ammunition and
bombs, which are worth nothing compared to a single day in the flames of
Hell, Al-Quds and Palestine will forever remain the compass of our lives,
the lifeline of our principles, and our central cause. Yemen, alongside the
nations of the Resistance Axis and honorable, free people across the
world, will remain an unshakable stronghold and a sharp sword in
dismantling the Zionist-American satanic project.”
From Lebanon, Khadija Shukr, daughter of the martyr Sayyed Mohsen
Shukr, extended her salutations—on her behalf and on behalf of the
families of the martyrs on the path to Al-Quds in Lebanon—to the free
women of Bahrain and to every woman in the nations of the Resistance
Axis. She stated that we are currently living through a pivotal and
challenging phase in the region’s history, one that evokes the Battle of
Karbala, where the Leader Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his finest companions
were martyred. She recalled how the responsibility of safeguarding the faith
and protecting Ahlul Bayt fell upon Sayyeda Zainab (A.S.), the heroic figure
of Karbala. Despite the immense pain of loss and the horrors she endured
during the Tragedy of Al-Taff, she remained steadfast, resilient, and
resolute, keeping her eyes set on continuing the path with unwavering
determination and strength. Shukr affirmed that International Quds Day is a
renewal of the pledge made by the late Imam Khomeini (Quddisa Sirruh) to
Palestine and its sacred Al-Quds. She emphasized the unwavering
commitment to following this path, no matter how arduous, and vowed
never to retreat until every inch of Palestine is liberated and every grain of
Lebanon’s soil is reclaimed.
From Bahrain, the free women of ‘’Sitra’’, the capital of the revolution and
‘’A’ali’’, delivered two speeches emphasizing that Palestine has always
been the central of the conflict, since the Zionists coveted it and the
arrogant powers conspired against it, handing it over to them—although
they are not the rightful owners of it. Since then, Palestine has remained
the central cause of the Ummah, as the people have continuously rejected
this occupation, which has committed the most heinous crimes against
Palestinians—they have killed, arrested, and displaced an entire nation into
exile, all with the backing of the world’s tyrants. The women of Bahrain
reaffirmed that this enemy understands nothing but the language of force,
which necessitates emphasizing the unwavering stance in support of
Palestine and its people, refusing to submit to its demands because it is a
treacherous enemy, untrustworthy.
The Women’s Committee of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition
concluded the event by highlighting the role of women and mothers in this
war. It emphasized that women and mothers are facing a fierce assault
aimed at compromising their chastity and faith, creating a rift between them
and the younger generation. This is being carried out through soft war,
utilizing technology and social media to divert them from the righteous path
and distance them from their true purpose. The committee stressed the
importance of analyzing the events in Gaza and the ongoing war against it,
which has led to enormous bloodshed, and severe human and material
losses. It pointed out that the continuous genocide against Gaza for nearly
a year and a half—followed by the war on Lebanon, with overt support from
America and covert backing from normalization regimes—indicates that this
enemy can only be deterred by resistance and it will not be stopped unless
confronted. This is a ruthless and inhumane enemy, holds no regard for
human or even stone, aims to extend its dominance across the region and
must be eradicated, this can only be achieved through the unity of
battlefronts, stretching from the Islamic Republic to Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon,
Syria, and Palestine.
The Women’s Committee of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition
organizes this annual event on the occasion of International Quds Day,
featuring the participation of Bahrain’s courageous women alongside a
distinguished group of Arab and Islamic female figures. This event
underscores their steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause,
emphasizing its centrality and categorically rejecting any compromise on it.
