February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition has launched a media campaign
ahead of the “National Day for the Expulsion of the American Base from
Bahrain.”
In this context, its official social media pages have been filled with
mobilization efforts and calls to commemorate this day, emphasizing the
expulsion of the American base from Bahrain.
The Chairman of the Shura Council of February 14 Revolution Youth
Coalition emphasized in his speech on the occasion of Ramadan the
importance of widespread engagement with this event. He affirmed that the
existence of American bases in Bahrain is a form of occupation and a type
of terrorism that was never the will of the people, who are the source of
authority. Therefore, there is neither a legitimate justification nor popular
acceptance for this existence.
The Political Council of February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition, in its
weekly position, reaffirmed its full readiness to commemorate this day,
emphasizing that the American base is a hub for hegemony and occupation
in the region, and a symbol of the satanic project that orchestrates
conspiracies, wars, and strife to dismantle the values of the Ummah,
weaken its will, and align it to the brutal Western culture. The Council
stressed that this day stands as an opportunity to renew the people’s
unwavering will to purge Bahrain of the satanic American existence and to
declare the free popular stance that aligns with the resistance movements
across the region and its axis, which will remain steadfast in its strategic
goal of expelling occupying forces and liberating the nations from all forms
of domination and exploitation.
It is worth noting that February 14 Coalition declared the “National Day for
the Expulsion of the American Base from Bahrain” in a statement issued on
Monday, May 29, 2017. The statement clarified that this initiative is not
bound by a specific timeframe but is rather a strategic project that will be
worked on with determination and willpower until its noble and legitimate
goals are achieved—goals that the people have demanded for decades.
These include reclaiming true sovereignty over Bahrain and ending the
dictatorial Al Khalifa regime, which has relied on the existence of the
American military base for its survival. This base has not only covered up
the Al Khalifa’s crimes for years but has also been complicit in them.
Moreover, it is one of the key pillars the U.S. administration depends on to
strengthen its military presence in the Gulf and the Middle East, with the
aim of fulfilling its strategic and economic ambitions and supporting the
Zionist entity.
