The Political Council of February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued its
weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Political Council of February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition salutes the
loyal people of Bahrain for their honorable response to the call of truth: “We
remain true to the pledge.” They demonstrated loyalty and courage; filling
the squares of the nation with symbolic funeral processions for the Master
of the Nation’s Martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and the Hashemite
martyr, Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din (may Allah’s mercy be upon them).
The council affirms that this popular presence is an expression of the
authentic identity of this people, who insist on holding firmly to their religion
and values of freedom, justice, and liberation. These are the great
principles embodied by the Master of the Nation’s Martyrs throughout his
blessed life, which stood as an exceptional model of jihad, faith, and
martyrdom. He became a beacon for believers and free people worldwide,
who came from all countries to participate in the historic funeral procession
on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Among them were groups from our loyal
people, reaffirming their commitment to following his noble path and jihadi
approach—an approach that resonated in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Iran,
Bahrain, and in all arenas that believe in the approach of the supreme
martyr and his message of liberating homelands and sanctities from the
filth of occupation and tyranny.
In this context, we highlight the following key points in this weekly position:
1- Our dear people in Bahrain took the initiative, even before the official
funeral in Lebanon, to hold funeral ceremonies honoring the two great
martyrs in various regions, expressing their deeply rooted identity in
loyalty to the authentic path of faith, freedom, and liberation—values
that were manifested in the most profound and sincere ways in the
life of the supreme and holiest martyr. This faith-driven and jihadist
stance was reflected by Bahrain’s religious scholars and opposition
political forces, who called for the organization of various forms of
mourning and tribute for the two great martyrs. Our noble people in
Bahrain answered the call with unwavering devotion, as its sons and
daughters took to the streets in pledge marches across towns and
villages, reaffirming their loyalty and love for the great leader who
stood by them and their just cause, just as he stood with the
oppressed and downtrodden across the world. Thus, it was natural
for Bahrain to echo with the resounding chants of “We remain true to
the pledge” and that for hearts, homes, and walls to be adorned with
the sorrow of this immense loss, alongside symbols of loyalty and
devotion to the resistance. Moreover, our people did not hesitate to
be physically present at the official funeral, as many of them
embarked on a journey of hardship, enduring the strains of travel to
Lebanon, determined to participate and take part in the grand and
historic funeral procession of the Nation’s Martyr and to earn the
immense honor of offering their final farewell to his pure body and
visiting him in his sacred resting place.
2- We strongly condemn the brutal repression by the Khalifi regime’s
forces against the loyal participants in the funeral ceremony of the
Master of the Nation’s Martyrs across Bahrain, as the regime’s
security apparatus pursued mourners and arrested some of them.
This repressive behavior is yet another confirmation of the Khalifi
occupation authority’s complete detachment from our people, its war
against their authentic identity, and its insistence on servitude to the
Zionist-American alliance that is hostile to the nation, its figures, and
every movement committed to liberation from colonialism and
hegemonic forces. At the same time, we consider the Khalifi
crackdown on mourners as evidence of the Al Khalifa’s continuous
descent into ruin and its inevitable downfall, God willing. As the Fakih,
the leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim (may Allah protect him),
stated in his speech on the 14th anniversary of the revolution, “The
path to power is open to both nations and authorities. However, the
people who are loyal to their religion, their figures, and the principles
of their revolution will be the true victors in the battle to reclaim
strength, for they are the owners of the right, land and history.
Meanwhile, the authority’s repression and terrorism are meaningless
and ineffective. They were akin to the futile display of the Zionists
warplanes over the heads of the mourners at the funeral of the two
great martyrs. Yet, the mourners responded to the warplanes with
fists raised in defiance, reaffirming their commitment to the path of
the supreme martyr and his school of sacrifice—until the tyrants and
occupiers are overthrown.
3- As the resistance against the Zionist-American project enters a new
phase following the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon and the
martyrdom of the Master of the Martyrs (may Allah’s mercy be upon
him), we affirm that the movement of the people in confronting this
project and its puppets is also entering a new stage—one filled with
challenge and resilience. The complete exposure of the true criminal
nature of the Zionist project, alongside the arrogance of the Zionist-
American powers in their blatant disregard for divine values, sacred
laws, and international human rights, stands in stark contrasts to the
subservience of their puppet regimes. These regimes swallow
disgrace and public humiliation at the hands of the Americans before
the eyes of the world. This reality will only deepen the awareness of
the nation and strengthen its commitment to the path embodied by
the supreme martyr—resisting the occupiers and fearlessly speaking
the truth against tyrannical rulers and regimes allied with the
American devil. We are confident that our people, along with the
other nations of the region, will play a decisive role in this battle, and
their dignity and pride will ultimately have the final word—one that will
illuminate this nation and etch its radiant glory into history.
4- We strongly deplore what is called the “Islamic-Islamic Dialogue
Conference” that was sponsored last week by the tyrant Hamad in
Bahrain. While we welcome all the esteemed scholars and guests
from our Arab and Islamic countries, we remain skeptical about the
effectiveness of such conferences as long as they are held under the
patronage of tyrants and rulers involved in committing crimes against
their own people. This is especially true for tyrant Hamad, who has
been deeply involved in these crimes, showing no hesitation to carry
out religious persecution against our people with his criminal gang.
He has exacerbated sectarian strife among his citizens, including the
demolition of mosques, protecting Takfiri extremists and promoters of
sectarian rhetoric, in addition to normalizing relations with the
Zionists, the enemies of the nation. It would have been more
appropriate for the tyrant to acknowledge these crimes, apologize to
the people of Bahrain, and remove this disgrace by restoring the
rights to its rightful owners and holding accountable all those accused
of these crimes—starting with himself, his army chief, the terrorist
interior minister, his executioner son Nasser, and extending to the
rest of the officers, mercenaries, and all those who support and
defend these crimes.
