The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition extends
its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to our beloved people in Bahrain, who
have proven their loyalty to the martyrs and sacrifices and strongly
contributed to the commemoration of the 14th anniversary of the launch of
their blessed revolution. They took to the squares, raising chants and
slogans of the revolution and dignity, despite all the pressures and
challenges that the Khalifa regime relied on to cause weakness and
despair among the ranks of our loyal masses. However, our people have
once again proven the truth that the movement for change in history may
falter for a while or experience a slight retreat, but it never dies and cannot
be eradicated completely, especially with a loyal, noble people who believe
in Allah Almighty and trust in His truthful promise to the mujahideen, and
has a long history of struggle and jihad. We salute and honor this proud
people, the detained leaders, and all the free prisoners. Our pledge to
them, as we stated in the anniversary speeches, is that we will remain with
them, not with their enemy, patient, working, and seeking reward (from
Allah Almighty): “And (those who) are patient in poverty and hardship and
during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who
are the righteous.” (Surah al-Baqarah, Ayah 177).
In this context, we record the following key points in the weekly position:
1- We affirm all the contents of the speech of the leader, His Eminence
Sheikh Isa Qassim (may his blessings endure), on the occasion of
the 14th anniversary of Bahrain’s revolution. It is the right of our
people and their living forces to take pride in His Eminence as a
courageous, wise, spiritually-guided leader, knowledgeable of the
affairs and conditions of his time and a struggler for truth and the
support of its people. They do not change or compromise, no matter
how much the criminals tyrannize and increase in their corruption and
wickedness. We pause to emphasize His Eminence’s affirmation that
the objective reason for the 2011 revolution still exists and is, in fact,
even stronger and clearer today with the increasing of injustice and
tyranny, and the commission of new crimes by the Khalifi regime as it
throws itself into the arms of the criminal Zionists, engaging in satanic
alliances that are hostile to the values and religion of the nation, in
such a context, any retreat or surrender would mean acceptance of
humiliation and disgrace – an impossible choice for a people whose
veins pulse with Islam, and who have sacrificed a group of martyrs
and righteous leaders for the sake of their freedom, dignity, and
liberation from the evildoers.
2- We commend the popular movement and the revolutionary presence
in commemorating the revolution’s anniversary this year, as well as
the determination of the opposition forces and their supporters to
mark the occasion across all regions and towns of Bahrain. The
marches, sit-ins, and revolutionary actions were a clear indication of
the steadfastness and strength of the February 14 Revolution,
drawing its power from its authenticity and the legitimacy of its
demands. We especially commend the new generation of our great
people, who have succeeded in overcoming repression and siege.
This generation has become a conscious extension of the February
14 Revolution, bearing the burden of the absence of leaders, the
detention of young activists, severe terrorism and displacement, while
preserving the path and adhering to the responsibility and religious
duty. They have not hesitated to offer whatever they can to defend
the banner and the people’s right to resist and repel aggression.
3- We affirm that commemorating the revolution’s anniversary is not
confined to a specific day or place. Honoring this day is a renewal of
vitality and determination to continue on this path every day, month,
and year. The unified slogan for the revolution’s anniversary,
“Confident in God,” underscores the message of the slogan “Faith
and Determination,” which the coalition has dedicated for the new
year. This represents holding firmly to the two pillars of faith-based
conviction and steadfastness action in this ongoing struggle between
truth and falsehood. As for our people, there is no ambiguity or
hesitation in determining the front and the choice. On the internal
level, our people insist on their right to build a dignified and just state
by drafting a new constitution that meets the aspirations of all its
components. On the external level, they support the right to resist the
forces of occupation, hegemony, and genocide led by the Americans
and Zionists, and they emphasize the people’s approach in
maintaining balance and harmony between these two levels,
asserting that any deviation or abandonment of either, or both, is an
alignment with the American-Zionist project. Our firm conviction is
that this criminal project is the root cause of despotism, corruption,
and occupation in our country and region, and our hostility and
resistance against it will continue without neglect or leniency.
4- In adherence to the values, religion, and the faith-based and jihadist
choices of our people, we call on our people in Bahrain to participate
widely in the exceptional day dedicated to the funeral ceremonies of
the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah,
and his companion, the Hashemi, Sayyid Hashem Safieddine (may
God’s peace and blessings be upon them), on the 23rd of February
(this month) under the slogan “We Shall Keep the Covenant.” We
urge all the people, from every town and region, to be present
throughout the country and to express, in various forms, their loyalty
to the two great martyrs. This includes organizing symbolic funeral
processions for them, hanging their images throughout the country on
all poles and walls, and holding mourning gatherings and condolence
sessions for their pure souls. We also emphasize participation in
commemorating the martyrs of the resistance leaders, renewing the
pledge and loyalty to the path of resistance, and the line of the
martyrs and mujahideen who shed their pure blood in the struggle for
the liberation of the land and the confrontation of the Zionist-
American occupier. They have taught nations valuable lessons and
instilled hope for the liberation of homelands and sanctities, as well
as for the defeat of tyrants and arrogant oppressors.
