The Director of the Political Office of the February 14 Revolution Youth
Coalition in Beirut, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi, extended his greetings to the
people of Bahrain on the 14th anniversary of the revolution.
In his speech on February 14, Friday, February 14, 2025, Dr. Ibrahim Al-
Aradi, Director of the Political Office of the February 14 Revolution Youth
Coalition in Beirut, stated that fourteen years have passed, yet the 14th of
February remains etched in memory, emotion, and mind, reaching every
place. He emphasized that the people draw strength, will, and pride from
this day. Despite the passing of many years, they continue to breathe in the
scent of freedom that soared around their sons, rose into the skies of
Bahrain, and swept through the roads until it settled in the heart of Martyrs’
Roundabout (Pearl Roundabout).
Al-Aradi added: “Each one of us is filled with pride, gratitude, and honor for
that great day. We consider it our glorious day and our steadfast
celebration. We remember it throughout the year, month by month. As the
true dawn of this day rises, the images of our beloved martyrs come alive
within us—the steadfast leaders in their prison cells, the fallen heroes who
gave their lives for freedom. Tears fall as we remember the blood of martyr
‘’Ali Abdulhadi Mushaima’’, and before we can even wipe them away on the
day of his funeral, new tears flow with the sacrifice of yet another martyr.
But the images of February 14 are not just about sorrow or bidding farewell
to loved ones. More than anything, they are images of defiance, pride, and
resilience, images of those who led the uprising, of fearless hearts that
defeated tanks and the barrels of an invading army, images of Bahraini
women filling the roundabout squares and beyond, with their presence
echoing across the world, images of brave revolutionaries who wrapped
themselves in shrouds, refusing to retreat or surrender. They gifted us their
bullet-ridden chests, their unbowed heads in the marches, and their
banners—raised high—declaring sacrifice, echoing the very first chants of
resistance”.
He stressed the importance of remaining loyal to the people, not to their
killer enemy, the violator of honor and sanctities, the destroyer of mosques,
the Zionist collaborator, and the agent of criminal Americans. The people
will not sign a pact of slavery, and the proud heads of their sons will not
bow, remaining as proud as the martyrs and prisoners.
The Director of the Political Office in Beirut concluded his February speech
with: “From you and to you, we pledge that our breaths will always be from
the February 14 Revolution… that we will stand shoulder to shoulder, hand
in hand… we will not deviate from the path of February 14; we recognize
only the Pearl Charter in it, and we will only sign in it the oath of the
martyrs… and we will accept nothing but the right to self-determination. We
write this and declare it as a testimony for all times, with every letter and
every color… and we call upon Allah Almighty, the Prophets (AS), the
Righteous, the Martyrs, and the Pious as witnesses”.
