The February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition announced the opening of the
“Bahraini Prisoners’ Exhibition” in its second edition on the evening of
Thursday, January 23, 2025. The event coincided with the anniversary of
the martyrdom of the “Martyr of Prisons,” Imam Musa bin Ja’far Al-Kadhim
(PBUH), in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The exhibition, which welcomed dozens of visitors on its first day, features
images of prominent leaders detained in the prisons of the Khalifi regime,
along with photos of the revolution’s martyrs. It also includes banners
displaying the messages and wills of some of them, as well as a cultural
corner with brochures about the revolution and the issue of the detainees.
The management of the “Bahraini Prisoners’ Exhibition” addressed a
message to guests and visitors, stating that this exhibition is a token of
loyalty to the political detainees in Bahrain, honoring their patience,
endurance, and immense sacrifices for the sake of the homeland and the
revolution.
It added that hundreds of political detainees remain imprisoned in the
Khalifi regime’s jails, not for any crime they committed, but for their
insistence on obtaining their political right to self-determination. They are
living in difficult humanitarian conditions under a systematic and ongoing
policy of retaliation against them.
The exhibition’s management concluded its message by stating: “Today,
from this blessed place, we, the people of Bahrain, carry in our hearts the
pain and hopes of these free and oppressed individuals—their aspirations
for freedom and a decisive victory. We affirm that their cause is not merely
the cause of a people subjected to an unjust rule, but the cause of a nation
seeking truth and justice. We will neither rest nor remain silent until the
chains are broken and rights are restored to their rightful owners.
