The Friday preacher in Bahrain, “His Eminence Sheikh
Muhammad Sanqoor,” once again called for addressing the file of
prisoners, emphasizing that the humanitarian aspect of this file
insists on its consideration and discussion.
In his central Friday prayer sermon held at “Imam Al-Sadiq
(PBUH) Mosque” in Diraz, west of the capital Manama, on Friday,
August 30, 2024, His Eminence stated that the file of prisoners
remains deeply present in the conscience and emotions of a wide
segment of the nation’s people. This situation has resulted in
significant psychological and health difficulties for the families of
the prisoners, including young children, elderly parents, and
others who have passed away with hearts burdened by feelings of
injustice and sorrow. In addition, the absence of those who were
relied upon for support has further exacerbated the already
difficult living conditions for these families.
Regarding regional affairs, His Eminence pointed to the recent
call by a member of the Zionist enemy’s government to establish
a Jewish synagogue in Al-Aqsa Mosque. He described this as a
blatant disregard for a site that is one of the holiest sites in Islam.
He remarked that this lowly and abject individual would not have
dared to make such a proposal if he had not recognized the
weakness and apathy of those who are expected to be zealous
and protective of their religion and sacred sites. It is expected that
these individuals take strong and decisive action against this
extremist group, which shows no respect for sacred sites, just as
it shows no respect for blood and human lives. “Sheikh Sanqoor” emphasized that the brutal and savage Zionists
understand only the language of firmness and strength.
Submission and pleading only encourage them to show more
contempt and bolster their sense of arrogance and superiority, so
what is effective in curbing the excesses of this rabid group is fire
and iron.
His Eminence praised the successful operation on the Day of “Arbaeen”, noting that the Zionist enemy retreated in disgrace and
fear, wallowing in blatant lies and seeking to cover up their shame
through secrecy and deception. Finally, He extended his
greetings to the valiant men of the resistance and their ongoing
struggle.
