The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
As we approach the commemoration of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein
(PBUH) and the anticipated millions participating in the faithful marches to
the holy city of Karbala, we call on our Bahraini people participating in this
religious and cultural event to reflect on the profound meanings of Imam
Hussein’s (PBUH) uprising and its values in confronting oppression and
tyrants. We urge them to maintain the shining Bahraini example in
embodying these principles and values, and to be, as always, Bahrain’s
ambassadors in informing the world about the existential struggle with the
criminal Khalifa regime, clarifying the goals of the February 14 Revolution,
raising the images and stories of the martyrs, and explaining the sufferings
of political prisoners and detained revolutionary leaders, who face
systematic deprivation of medical care and religious practices, enduring
slow death as retribution for their heroic resistance and refusal to submit to
humiliation and surrender.
In these circumstances, we will address the following topics in our weekly
position:
1- We warn the Khalifa regime against continuing its repressive and
vengeful policies against those participating in the commemoration of
the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (PBUH), following the aggressive
crackdown that began during the Ashura season. We emphasize the
necessity of thwarting the regime’s goals to attack our sacred sites,
beliefs, and deeply rooted rituals. We must remain steadfast in
continuing religious commemorations and observances refusing to
back down in the face of this criminal Khalifa assault. Defending
these rituals and our authentic cultural and historical identity is an
integral part of defending political rights, the right to self-
determination, and popular sovereignty over the governance of our
country.
2- We emphasize the need to address the issue of political prisoners
and their systematic persecution and oppression they face within the
Khalifa prisons. We call for intensified and expanded support and
solidarity campaigns, as this issue represents a crucial battleground
in the struggle between the people and the Khalifa regime and its evil
supporters. We believe that managing this issue requires opening all
files related to the conflict with this criminal regime, including those
concerning killings and torture in prisons, and the involvement of the
tyrant Hamad and his sons in these abuses, and his promotion of
executioners and killers. This demonstrates the futility of seeking
rapprochement or reconciliation with this criminal faction, and
exposes the Khalifa regime’s false propaganda about dialogue and
tolerance, including the recent deceitful “Hamad Award for Peaceful
Coexistence,” which is built upon bloodshed, the destruction of
mosques, and violations of honor.
3- We call for caution and vigilance regarding potential malicious
schemes being prepared to counter the popular movement in
Bahrain. This comes in light of the recent rapid security and military
developments the country has witnessed, including the frequent visits
by American, Saudi, Egyptian, and Pakistani military delegations.
These visits are accompanied by secret agreements with the Khalifa
regime to protect its entrenched system of tyranny and corruption, in
exchange for the regime’s treacherous role in supporting the Zionist-
American project. We view the resumption of Khalifa regime’s
repression against our people as an indication of a new security
policy endorsed by the surrounding criminal entities, especially given
the steadfastness and strength of the people in their rightful demand
for freedom and justice, and their unwavering support for the
resistance in Gaza and the region.
4- The local and external challenges faced by our people and our nation
call for everyone to put in more effort and seriousness to enhance the
principle of comprehensive collaboration and cooperation among
national and popular forces in Bahrain, the Gulf, and the Arab and
Islamic countries. We hope that the honorable opposition forces in
our country will seize this opportunity to take new steps toward
rapprochement, understanding, and joint coordination, building on the
achievements and sacrifices accumulated over the long course of
popular and national struggle, which has expanded significantly since
the onset of the February 14 Revolution.
5- We reaffirm our position and that of our people in Bahrain in
supporting the righteous resistance against the Zionists and
American invaders, and in resisting normalization and regimes of
shame and treachery. We applaud the pure blood of the jihadist
martyrs in Gaza, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, and
congratulate the leaders of the Resistance for their great sacrifice in
confronting the enemies of the nation. We are confident in the clear
victory that Allah will grant through the noble resistance axis. We also
commend the martyrdom operation that took place on Sunday night
in the heart of the Zionist enemy’s capital. This operation is a
message from the Mujahideen of “Qassam” and “Saraya” that the
martyrdom operatives are ready to reach the Zionist heartland and
are capable of altering the equation of open confrontation against
Zionist aggression and open genocide, as well as thwarting the
negotiations game managed by the Americans to ensure the security
of the Zionists and the continuation of their terrorism.
