The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Our loyal people in Bahrain have clearly denounced the heinous
assassination of “Martyr Leader Ismail Haniyeh” and the Zionist
aggression on the southern suburb of Beirut (Dahyieh), which led to the
martyrdom of “Great Leader Sayyed Fouad Shukr” and several women
and children.
This popular stance emerged within the context of massive demonstrations
across the country. In these demonstrations, our resilient people adhered
to their central approach at this stage, linking the issues of Gaza and
political prisoners. This underscored the determination of the popular
movement to solidify the equation of revolutionary and solidarity escalation
in two fundamental directions: the first direction is the popular
disassociation from the treacherous official stance of the Al Khalifa regime
and their alliance with the Zionist-American axis, and the other direction is
to continue on the path of the February 14 Revolution and its just demands,
thwarting the repression and containment plans that the Khalifi entity, with
foreign support, alternates between to maintain the corrupt authoritarian
regime entrenched in the country. Thanks to popular awareness and
steadfastness; we affirm that the policies of repression and intimidation are
bound to fail, something the Khalifis themselves understand. This
realization forces them, like outcasts, to seek lifelines from every direction,
especially as their criminal allies are being broken by the resilient strikes
and vigor of the resistance on all honorable fronts.
In the context of local and regional developments, we note the following
points in this weekly position:
1- We condemn the wave of arrests conducted by the Khalifi entity’s
forces in connection with the Ashura commemoration and solidarity
marches with prisoners, Gaza, and the resistance axis. This is seen
as another manifestation of the madness afflicting this illegitimate
entity, which mistakenly believes that the escalating regional tension
provides an opportunity to intensify repression against the peaceful
movement in the country. We renew our warning against the
consequences of continuing security madness and targeting religious
rituals and the popular movement. We affirm that all forms of
repression will not weaken our people, who have succeeded over the
past years in overcoming repression, killing, and mercenary armies.
Today, they are stronger than ever, more confident and proud of their
choice for freedom and justice, and steadfast in their support for the
nation’s causes, foremost among them Palestine and the resistance
against the Zionist-American project.
2- We strongly doubt the sincerity of the Khalifi official stance following
the Zionist aggression that led to the assassination of the two great
leaders, Haniyeh and Shukr. In this regard, we view the condolence
message sent by the tyrant Hamad to Palestinian President
Mahmoud Abbas and the call from his foreign minister to the Iranian
minister-designate as attempts to cover up the Khalifi regime’s
nefarious role in cooperating with the Zionists and Americans. These
steps are intended to conceal the extensive facilitation of the US Fifth
Fleet and the Zionist espionage nests that tarnish the capital,
Manama. Such deceptive actions will not obscure the Khalifi entity’s
role in antagonizing the resistance axis and their collaboration with
the criminal Zionists in executing aggression and conspiring against
the support fronts for Gaza and its victorious resistance.
3- The tribal scene in which the tyrant appeared with his sons and tribe
members amid the panic from local and regional situations
epitomizes the reality of the despotic tribal rule. It underscores the
regime’s monopolistic control over the country and its people, as well
as the superficiality and deceit of its institutions that are entirely
subject to tribal dominance. On the other hand, the assembling of the
Khalifi tribe members in these sensitive circumstances reflects their
estrangement from our people and land, their increasing fear of an
uncertain fate, the instability of their blood-stained thrones and the
defeat of their criminal supporters by the resistance axis.
4- We reaffirm our position and that of the people of Bahrain and its
active forces in holding the American “Great Satan” fully responsible
for the crimes committed by the Zionists in Gaza and the region, both
currently and in the future. This major devil stands behind all acts of
murder, terrorism, and genocide, providing cover and protection to
the Zionists, and supplying them with weapons, money, and
intelligence to commit further aggression, crimes, and violations. This
blatant American hypocrisy extends beyond just Palestinian rights
and the right to resist Zionist occupation; it also affects all countries
that oppose American hegemony and seek liberation from global
arrogance policies, as well as free peoples fighting against their
despotic regimes protected by Americans and global evildoers.
5- We call on our free people to prepare for and commemorate the
anniversary of independence from British colonial rule on August 14.
Let this occasion become another platform to confront the existential
and falsification war waged by the Khalifi regime against the people
of Bahrain, particularly in eradicating national events and the
collective memory of the popular struggle against British colonialism
and Khalifi despotism. We urge all forces to organize the broadest
possible commemoration and celebration of this anniversary, which
represents a national day for the people and all its genuine forces
and components. The Political Council has prepared special
materials for this occasion in the upcoming third issue of its regular
newsletter, “February 14,” which will be released in mid-August.
