The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition strongly
condemns the crime committed by the mercenaries of the Khalifa regime,
who fired at the youth “Hussein Badaw” during a popular demonstration in
solidarity with political prisoners who are facing a new battle against the
systematic violations imposed upon them.
The direct shooting with intent to kill represents a dangerous escalation by
this criminal regime, occurring within the broader context of a general
escalation led by the malign Zionist alliance in the region. This underscores
the necessity of national unity among our beloved people, based on the
struggle for political rights and the establishment of a just constitutional
state. We believe that this national path is crucial to thwarting the tyrant
Hamad’s attempts to reintroduce repression and security solutions after his
failure to contain and eliminate the popular movement. We also call for
vigilance against malicious plans to incite sectarian tensions and ignite
internal strife, which are being revived by the American-Zionist alliance.
This is evident from the statements of the executioner “Nasser bin the
tyrant Hamad” in the United States, who confirmed his criminal tribe’s
continued normalization with the Zionists and participation in the
aggression against the region’s peoples and countries opposing American-
Zionist hegemony.
In the light of this, we outline the following points in this weekly position:
1- We highlight the Khalifa regime’s intimidating practices against our
people in Bahrain, in conjunction with the brutal escalation by the
American-Zionist alliance in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen. These
practices have escalated systematically, indicating a direct
connection between the criminal projects uniting repressive regimes
and the Zionist-American alliance. This was evident with the renewed
targeting of the main Friday prayer pulpit in Bahrain, with the
summons and interrogation of his Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Sadadi for
his sermons denouncing Zionist crimes and calling for responding the
people’s rights. Following this, there were further summonses of
preachers and Hussaini reciters, with detentions and instructions to
suspicious accounts to stir up prisoners and sectarian strife during
Ashura. This was accompanied by increased restrictions and
violations inside prisons, the use of brutal repression against peaceful
protesters, and deliberate bloodshed in response to widespread
popular protests.
2- These Khalifa regime crimes are another indicator of the inherent
nature of this illegitimate entity that is hostile to the people, and the
impossibility of coexisting with it in any form. This regime and its
foreign backers must understand that these crimes will not achieve
their goals of terrorizing the people and subduing its free sons. This
terrorist policy will push the situation to stages that the terrorist
mindset ruling over our people cannot imagine or foresee. Those who
devise plans for this regime should take heed –before it is too late–
of the recent popular uprising and the mobilization of loyal masses in
Bahrain’s regions and towns, and the revolutionary slogans chanted
by strong voices. There is no room for retreat or despair among this
noble people, who are determined to secure their legitimate rights
and achieve their noble goals by overthrowing the corrupt and
tyrannical regime. The crimes, strife, and sacrifices will only
strengthen their revolutionary insistence. 3- We reiterate our call to our loyal people to participate widely in the
“Bahraini Prisoner ‘s Day” (on July 24) and to actively engage in the
announced popular and revolutionary activities in solidarity with our
beloved prisoners and in support of the detained leaders in Khalifa
prisons. The Khalifa regime has intensified its criminal methods
against political prisoners by cutting off electricity and water,
depriving them of adequate medical treatment, and preventing them
from practicing their religious freedoms, especially during Ashura. We
view these crimes as part of the failure of the Khalifa regime’s
deceptive policies and plans, which hoped to break the prisoners’ will
and subject them to measures aimed at diluting their case through
alternative punishments, open prisons, and similar tactics.
4- We commend the massive Hussaini and Zainabi presence in
commemorating Ashura in Bahrain this year, which reaffirms this
resistant people’s commitment to the values of the Hussaini
revolution and its eternal message of freedom and resisting
oppression. Our people have maintained the authentic observance of
Ashura and have once again thwarted the tyrant’s project and lies
about managing this liberating devotional season. Every attempt to
distort Ashura and hijack its slogans and goals has faltered on the
ground.
The masses expressed their solidarity with the Karbala of Hussein,
rejecting Khalifa tyranny, global arrogance, and ISIS terrorism. The
Ashura processions and ceremonies triumphantly supported the
noble resistance of Gaza, and with the banners of Hussein, the flags
of truth and resistance were raised. Mourners trampled on the Zionist
flag in the heart of the capital, Manama, raising chants of disavowal
from Americans, deeming them the greatest evil that supports villains
and tyrants everywhere.
5- We affirm our full solidarity and support for the resilient Yemeni
people in their fight against the recent Zionist-American aggression
on the port of Hodeidah. We commend the courageous stance of
Yemen’s leadership and its people in supporting Gaza and its valiant
resistance, in line with other supportive fronts extending from Iran,
Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. In contrast, we condemn the persistence of
normalizing rulers in strengthening their treacherous relations with the
Zionist enemy and providing security and logistical support through
American bases and espionage centers in normalization countries,
disregarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza and occupied Palestine,
and ignoring the popular outrage in our country and around the world
calling for an end to normalization and support for the Palestinian
resistance and its steadfast people. Political Council – February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition
