The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued
the weekly position, which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the most Gracious the most Merciful
The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition extends
its deepest condolences to the Custodian of the Muslims, His Eminence the
Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei, the leadership of the Islamic Republic of
Iran, and its dear people, on the passing of the President of the Republic,
His Eminence Sayyid Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-
Abdullahian, and a group of faithful and dedicated leaders. We pray to
Allah Almighty to grant the Iranian people and their leadership patience and
steadfastness, confident that the revolution of the oppressed, launched by
the great Imam Khomeini, will continue its path and vigor in supporting
oppressed peoples and the free of the world, foremost among them the
people of Palestine and its honourable resistance.
In this regard, we affirm the principled and supportive positions expressed
by the late President Sayyid Raisi regarding the issue of Bahrain and its
oppressed people, as well as the long history of support provided by the
late Minister Abdullahian for the rightful demands of the people of Bahrain,
in all the ranks and positions he served within the Islamic Republic, asking
Allah Almighty to accept them all with mercy and forgiveness.
The Political Council records the following positions concerning the events
and issues that occurred in the country lastwee
:1- We reaffirm our condemnable position towards the 33rd Arab Summit
held in Bahrain last week, and as expressed by opposition forces, this
summit was the furthest from the hopes and aspirations of the
region’s people. It demonstrated the failure of the official Arab regime
to support the nation’s issues, especially the ongoing genocide
witnessed by Gaza, in the occupied territory of Palestine, perpetrated
by Zionist gangs under American and Western cover. We stress that
this failure was solidified by the acceptance of hosting the summit by
a despotic regime that normalizes relations with the Zionist enemy
and completely subservient to aggressive American policies in the
region.
2- We express our great pride in the free presence of our loyal people in
Bahrain during the summit, where our people continued to reaffirm
their supportive positions for Gaza and its resistance. The
demonstrations, sit-ins, and media campaigns organized by our
people and their active forces delivered a clear message reflecting
the views of our peoples on the summit and its outcomes. We
endorse in this context the statements and positions that were
directed towards Gaza and the resistance, considering the ‘’Bahrain
Summit’’ as yet another one of the ineffective theatrics that our
peoples do not take into account or regard.
3- We commend the ongoing grass-roots efforts to support Bahrain’s
detained leaders and political prisoners, and we praise this popular
and revolutionary determination to empty the prisons, and the firm
intention to continue advocating for their political rights, embodied in
the people’s right to self-determination through drafting their
constitution and establishing a just state with real sovereignty. We
believe that the people’s movement and sacrifices are worthy of
achieving this demand in full, without anyone’s favor or bidding, and
there is still great hope that all sincere efforts and initiatives will come
together to enable the people to exercise this right and to end the
entity of corruption and tyranny plaguing the country.
4- We salute the heroes among our revolutionary youth on the
anniversary of the inauguration of the Sacred Defense flag ‘’May 12,
2011’’, and we congratulate them on this important anniversary in the
history of our glorious revolution. This anniversary reaffirms the
vitality of this people and its ability to impose the balance of power in
the struggle against the Khalifi regime, and to defend lives (bloods)
and dignity. We call upon our dear people, youth, and future
generations of the revolution to celebrate this occasion and to
commemorate it, and to hold fast to this honorable flag as an
expression of the authentic spirit in protecting sanctities, dignity,
defending the oppressed people, and deterring the Khalifi aggression
and the evils of its criminal supporters.
5- We condemn the suspicious visit of the Head of the United States
Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), Omar Lopez, to Bahrain,
and his meeting with security officials in the country. We see that this
visit and similar ones indicate the continued violation by the Khalifi
regime of Bahrain’s sovereignty through opening the doors to foreign
security infiltration, and posing risks of espionage and surveillance by
hostile bodies, including Zionist ones on the security of the nation and
its citizens. We call upon our people, our revolutionaries, and active
forces to take caution, to adopt appropriate methods to protect
against surveillance and security tracking, and to renew revolutionary
means and protest tools in the face of repression and the
continuation of the revolution.
