The media center of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition
published an exclusive infographic on its social media pages
highlighting what prisoners endure in the prisons of the Khalifi
regime.
The infographic, titled ‘’Bahraini regime’s prisons are a Grim
reality for victims of slow death’’, mentioned that numerous
human rights statistics documented the martyrdom of 24 Bahraini
prisoners between the years 2011 and 2024, and thousands of
cases of torture were documented as well.
Furthermore, the conditions in the Khalifi regime’s prisons are dire
and inhumane, and considered as hotbeds for the slow death of
hundreds of detainees who remain there amidst the continued
perpetration of brutal violations against them.
Through this infographic, the February 14 Coalition demanded
that the international community not ignore these khalifis crimes,
holding it accountable for taking measures to protect these
detainees.
It is worth mentioning that more than 600 political prisoners
remain detained in the regime’s prisons, which lack even the most
basic standards of humane living conditions. Among them are
prominent leaders, dozens of patients, and others facing
challenging humanitarian circumstances.
