On the evening of Sunday, April 21, 2024, the Women’s
Committee of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition held the
eleventh edition of the Women’s Al-Quds Oratory Festival under
the theme ‘’The Flood of the Free’’.
The Festival commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran,
followed by speeches delivered by representatives from various
Arab countries, including the women activists from Bahrain, and
the women’s committee of the February 14 Revolution Youth
Coalition.
From Iraq, the family supervisor in the Family Supervision
Department at the Martyrs Directorate of the Popular Mobilization
Forces, ‘’Hajja Asmaa Mohsen Salem’’ had participated in the
festival, while from Lebanon, it was the managing editor of the
Baqiyatullah Magazine, the Islamic Researcher, ‘’Prof Nahla
Abdullah’’, had attended. From Syria, it was the English language
supervisor for the upper stage at the Great Prophet (PBUH)
Complex in Latakia, ‘’Prof Rola Khurma’’ had participated, while
from Palestine, it was the Public Relations Officer in Lebanon for
the Women’s Committee in the Islamic Jihad Movement, ‘’Mrs.
Um Ashraf’’, and the managing editor of the Media Office in
Lebanon for the Popular Front, ‘’ Dr. Intisar Aldanan’’ had alsoFrom Bahrain, distinguished women delivered a speech, in
addition to the Women’s Committee of the February 14
Revolution Youth Coalition, which denounced the suffering of
Gaza this year as it groans under the fire of the brutal aggression
and barbaric war for over six months, affirming that this war is
indeed a genocide in every sense of the word, with tens of
thousands of martyrs, double the number of wounded and a
million displaced, enduring a humanitarian crisis that will forever
be recorded as a perpetual shame for the world that remains
silent in the face of what is happening. Meanwhile, Palestinians
continue to epitomize the highest forms of resilience, patience,
sacrifice, and struggle, affirming that they are the rightful owners
of the land, and they will not relinquish it no matter the cost, as
they are deeply rooted in it like the roots of olive and lemon trees
in its soil.
Renewing their commitment to Palestine and its occupied al-
Quds, not to betray it, believing in the sanctity of ‘’International Al-
Quds Day’’, declared as a global day by the initiator of the Islamic
Revolution and the vanquisher of the greatest tyrants of His time,
the late Imam Ruhollah Khomeini, who foresaw what would
happen to it if Muslims abandoned their paramount cause, as
expressed by her.

countries has increased the responsibility on Muslims, where it
has become necessary not only to highlight the issue of Palestine,
the suffering of its people, and to support them morally and
materially, but everyone is urged to develop programs and plans

At the end of her speech, she expressed her gratitude to the
participating women activists who took part in this festival.
It’s worth mentioning that the Women’s Committee of the
Coalition annually organizes this festival on the occasion of the
‘’International Al-Quds Day’’, with the participation of Bahraini
women, as well as an elite group of Arab and Islamic women
activists, reaffirming their commitment to the Palestinian cause
and emphasizing its centrality and not to abandon it.
