The Women’s Committee in the February 14 Revolution Youth
Coalition issued a statement on the occasion of Mother’s Day,
which reads as follows:
In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful
This year’s Mother’s Day coincides with two traumatic events: the
first one is the anniversary of the passing of Mother of Believers
(Oum El Mouminine) Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (AS); whoMother’s was
indeed an excellent mother and wife. The second one is the
ongoing Zionist genocide war on Gaza for over five months, which
has resulted in the martyrdom of thousands of mothers, while
others were oppressed, displaced and imprisoned.
In the face of what happening in Gaza and Palestine, we should
bow our heads in honor of every mother there who remains
resilient, patient and steadfast despite the brutality of what is
happening, so the Palestinian mother is the epitome of courage
and dignity and the source of inspiration for all mothers globally.
In Bahrain, our mothers have become role models in struggle,
patience, and steadfastness, as they persist in their revolution
until its goals are achieved, even if they bid farewell to martyrs or
displaced, or yearn for a chased or detainedOn ‘’Mother’s Day’’ this year, our congratulations to all mothers
around the world are mixed with condolences for our Imam
Zaman, Master of Age, Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy
reappearance), and the Islamic nation on the passing of his
grandmother, Lady Khadijah Al-Kubra (AS), crowned with a salute
of pride and honor to our mothers in occupied Palestine and
Bahrain.
