The ‘’ Bahraini Prisoners’’ Exhibition Continues Its Activities for the Third Consecutive Day
The ‘’ Bahraini Prisoners’’, organized by the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, continues its activities for the third consecutive day.
On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the exhibition welcomed hundreds of visitors of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon Him). Many among them expressed messages of solidarity with the political detainees in Bahrain.
In addition, audio messages were broadcasted from the political detainees, expressing their resilience and steadfastness, following the example of their role model, Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon Him).
It is worth mentioning that the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition inaugurated the ‘’ Bahraini Prisoners’ exhibition’’ on the evening of Sunday, February 4, 2024, in the Iraqi capital. The exhibition received dozens of visitors, along with various party, Arab, and Iraqi media figures. This exhibition is part of the events organized by the Coalition dedicated to the detainees on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon Him), expressing gratitude for their patience, endurance, and sacrifices during years of their lives spent behind bars.
It is worth noting that approximately 1,500 political detainees remain in Al- Khalifia prisons, where they have been imprisoned and tried in illegitimate courts on political grounds and fabricated malicious charges. Some have received death sentences or life imprisonment, with revocation of citizenship based on confessions extracted under torture in terrorist interrogation rooms, using ready-made charges determined by the executioners. The regime resorts to enforced disappearance as part of its tactics to achieve its objectives.
