The media centre of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition condemned the Zionist enemy entity’s attack on ‘’Al-Alam TV office’’ in Gaza and the killing of journalists and media workers.
The media centre said in a statement on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, that is not new that the temporary enemy entity seeks to silence free platforms by force of arms and fire, and its dark history is full of the names of free media workers martyrs who struggled against it with the brave and genuine word and were assassinated at its hands, in addition to honest media outlets that it tried to keep them quiet, especially when it intensifies its attacks on the Palestinian people.
The media centre pointed out to the fall of several journalists martyrs since the start of the ‘’Al-Aqsa Flood’’, and many injuries among media workers, in addition to the attack of Zionist fighter jets on the ‘’Al-Alam TV Office’’ in Gaza, which led to serious damage and took him out of work completely, as he saw this as a cowardly and despicable step that reflects the brutality of this temporary entity and its cowardice and horror from the free and fair word as it terrified of the heroes of Palestine, as he put it.
The Media Centre expresses his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and the entire Palestinian people for the loss of these journalists, and extends sincere tribute to the management, journalists and workers of the ‘’Al-Alam TV’’, proud of their determination to deliver the just and free word, and their support for the oppressed peoples, and affirming his standing and support for them and their courageous and brave resistance channel.
He called on all journalists, reporters, media workers and all free media to denounce the attacks on the offices of media channels that fulfil their duties, and denounce the targeting of free word journalists, and take a firm stand against Zionist violations of international conventions by targeting the media and killing its workers.
