The Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition issued a statement on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the ‘’Popular Mobilization Forces’’ in Iraq which reads as follows:
On the occasion of the ninth anniversary of ‘’Popular Mobilization Forces’’, the Political Council of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition congratulates the dear Iraqi people and the authority, heroes and the leaders of the Popular Mobilization on the occasion of its launching on13 June 2014 with the issuance of the Al Jihad advisory opinion from Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani (may the almighty prolong his life).
In the face of Da’ashi terrorism supported by the Great Satan, Zionist entity and evil regimes in the Gulf, the sons of Rafidain launched a great jihad epic. On this occasion, we recall what the sacrificial leaders resist in the Resistance Axis notably the two leaders: ‘’Shaheed Kassem Sulaimani and Shaheed Abu Mahdi Mohandas’’, which had an extraordinary impact on the victories of the mobilization movement and protecting of Iraq and the people of the region from dangers of chaos and terrorist bombings.
The Political Council affirms on this occasion the following points:
- The establishment of the Popular Mobilization is a title that confirms the ability of peoples to regain their strength and will in the face of external ambitions and threats, and that they have their own potential to thwart the conspiracies, and they can defeat the attacks of enemies when they recharge their free batteries and regain their independent decisions from foreign bets.
- The Popular Mobilization expresses the conscience and authenticity of the Iraqi people in pride and dignity, demonstrated by the reliance on the supreme religious authority and the commitment to their courageous positions in the face of terrorism, and this was one of the important reasons for uniting the ranks of the resistance, launching of the Popular Mobilization and its success in eliminating ISIS (Da’ash) terrorism.
- The ISIS gangs in Iraq (and Syria) were not just savage groups aimed at spreading extremism and terrorism, but also were related to an American and Zionist agenda for spreading chaos in the region, depleting people’s capabilities, and making them surrender in the face of imperialist projects, these projects still exist, which makes Popular Mobilization Forces a continuous national, religious and regional necessity.
- Saudi and al-Khalifi entities – as well as other dictatorial entities – had the most prominent role in serving ISIS terrorist projects in Iraq, with documents proving their involvement in mobilizing, arming and recruiting for terrorists and takfirist. The hostile positions launched by Al Saud and Al Khalifa against the Popular Mobilization and its heroics confirms this malicious role, in which they distorted these heroics and accused the Mujahideen of the Mobilization and its martyrs of sectarianism, murder and cooperation with the resistance axis.
- The Popular Mobilization Forces understood – from the start – that it represents a liberating, national and moral force, and that its commitment to Iraq’s security and stability is inseparable from its responsibility to confront puppet forces in the region. Therefore, the leaders of the Mobilization issued a clear positions against the illegal acts and crimes of the dictatorship in the Gulf region, and announced their noble support for the Popular Movement in Bahrain and their support for the oppressed people in the eastern region, and support the Yemenis without hesitation in order to thwart the goals of Saudi – American aggression.
Finally, we once again congratulate the ninth anniversary of the Popular Mobilization Forces, and we emphasize that the Zionist and American threat to Iraq and the region still exists and pose a threat to the people, which urges the freemen in the region to continue and to remain steadfast in their positions and to prepare more quantities and equipment to defeat the danger of this criminal ISIS regimes and its tools.
