Director of the Political Bureau of the February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition in Beirut Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi, said that the patriotic voice of the free people of Bahrain is echoed every year on the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, on the ‘’National Day for the Expulsion of the American Base from Bahrain’’, announcing their adherence to the principle of sovereignty and their rejection of all forms of occupation under any title, especially if this title includes an illegal military presence on Bahraini land, as it is the first supporter of the brutal dictatorial regime that rules it, represented by the Al-Khalifa rulers who sold the sovereignty of the homeland, and sell it at every opportunity they have, in plain sight.
In a video address on Thursday, March 23, 2023, he explained that, from the point of view of rejection of any occupation, few years ago, the February 14 Coalition declared the first Friday of Ramadan as a national and popular day in order to expel this military base and all bases that occupy the land of Bahrain, in its commitment to the sovereignty of the homeland and respect for the international laws, stressing that these military bases, especially the United States Fifth Fleet, have only provided security and economic tension in the Middle East and the region, in addition to being the only protector of the agent dictatorial regimes in the region, which gave the rulers of the Al-Khalifa entity the green light to commit their horrific violations against the peaceful people of Bahrain for decades and comfortably.
Al-Aradi wondered about the usefulness of the presence of these bases on the land of Bahrain and their objectives in light of the signs of security agreements between important Arab and Islamic countries occurring in the region, and contribute to protect their national security without the need for the presence of these bases, which experiments demonstrated that their presence is destabilizing the security of this region and its goal is to ensure the protection of the interim Zionist entity by making the Arab lands a platform for waging wearisome wars to the capabilities of the Gulf and Arab countries and spying on the rest of the countries in the region.
The director of the Political Bureau emphasized that the presence of the American base in Bahrain with its Fifth Fleet runs counter to the national sovereignty and the Arab and regional national security, calling on the American administration to respond and respect the decision of the people, as all the free peoples of the world do not accept to live under occupation.
Dr. Al-Aradi congratulated the people of Bahrain and all Muslims around the world the coming of the holy month of Ramadan.
