As part of the preparations to commemorate the anniversary of the martyr “Muzahem Al-Shater”, a delegation from the February 14 Revolution youth Coalition met the Secretary of the Palestinian Allied Coalition Forces in Lebanon and the people’s Front for the liberation of Palestine- the General Command “Mr. Abu Kifah Ghazi”.
The coalition delegation confirmed the adherence of the Bahraini people to the Palestinian central cause and their refusal to normalize with Zionists, stressing that the commemoration of the martyr Al-Shater, who was martyred within the
ranks of Fatah Movement in 1982, comes in the context of the insistence of the Bahraini people on supporting the Palestinian people in their resistance to the occupation until the liberation of the last inch of the land of Palestine, pointing that the slogan of his fortieth anniversary events is “Resistant on the road to Al-Quds”.
The delegation had earlier met the Secretary of Liberation Group and Fatah Factions in Beirut “Brigadier Samir Abou Afash” and a number of Leaders at the movement’s headquarter in Mar Elias Camp in Beirut.
It mentions that the Bahraini martyr fighter “Muzahem Al-Shater”, was martyred on June 21, 1982, during his heroic participation in the operations to confront the Israeli invasion of Southern Lebanon; he had joined the Palestinian resistance in an early age, received training at one of Fatah Movement camps in the South,
and with the beginning of the Zionist invasion in June that year, he was confronting the aggression in Nabatiyeh in Southern Lebanon, until he was martyred.
