As part of the Twitter campaign entitled “Our country rejects the occupation” that started on Thursday, 12 March 2020, the February 14 Coalition stressed the need to reject the Saudi-Emirati military presence in Bahrain, and to resist it as an unfair occupation.
The Coalition said that the existence of the so-called “shield of the island” to Bahrain in the year 2011 is an occupation that is popularly rejected, as the Bahraini people seek true independence and the achievement of sovereignty over their land, sea, and sky, and their position is fixed in rejecting this occupation.
In a series of tweets, it affirmed that the people have the right to decide their fate, and to expel every occupier from their land and sea, especially that after 9 years of the Saudi-Emirati occupation, they demonstrated that they were hard to break, and that all the crimes committed against them did not break their will, and in return, the dictator Hamad is practically became an employee of Ben Zayed and Ben Salman.
The February 14 Coalition mentioned examples of the crimes of this occupation, such as the martyr Ahmed Farhan and the demolition of mosques, which would not have happened without the American and British support through their bases in Bahrain, in violation of national sovereignty.
