The Jurist MS. Ebtisam Al-Saegh said that the prisoner of conscience Ahmed Abdel-Shahid was transferred with another detainee to an unknown destination, while the communication between him and his colleagues in the prison was halted , according to Al-Saegh .
The family of the detainee expressed deep concern after he has reportedly been tortured by a Yemeni mercenary known to offend prisoners of conscience, calling for the disclosure of his fate, to enable him to make a call to check on him, and to run an investigation into the incident of his assault.
It is noteworthy that the detainee Ahmed Abdel-Shahid is sentenced to 5 years’ imprisonment on political background, he served 4 years so far, and he is imprisoned in the central prison of Joe, Building 4, ward 6.
