The director of the political bureau of the February 14 Coalition in Beirut, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi, confirmed that the right of self-determination is the only way out in Bahrain, so that the country will have sovereignty over its political decision and its lands, and the people will obtain their full political rights.
This came in his speech during the press conference held by the Political Council of the February 14 Coalition on Monday 17 February 2020 in London, on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the glorious revolution.
Al-Aradi referred to the popular referendum that took place in Bahrain in November 2014, regarding the right to self-determination, which was very popular, in which the people said their words to end the regime and establish a new political system that achieves justice and equality among all components of the people.
He stressed that the “Pearl Charter” represents the political vision for Bahrain’s salvation, and he urged the international community to read and review it.
On the Palestinian issue, Al-Aradi emphasized its centrality and the popular rejection in Bahrain of Al-Khalifa’s normalization with the Zionist entity, saying: “The holy city of “Quds” is the standard of honor and human dignity, and we are with the Palestinian right and against the endeavors of Al-Khalifa regime
