On Friday, February 14, 2020, the ninth anniversary of the revolution, the Bahraini people reaffirmed the revolution’s momentum and strength, as the movement reached its peak and manifestations of civil disobedience prevailed in most regions, from dawn until late night.
Despite the unprecedented security mobilization, people and revolutionaries broke the siege and the state of emergency and renewed the revolution’s scenes that took place in 2011.
Demonstrations were set off in the capital, Manama, Sanabis, Abu Saibaa, Shakhura, Barbar, Samaheej, Nuwaidrat, Karbabad, and Al-Masala, and some of these areas had more than one demonstration, and a revolutionary stand was carried out in the North Sahla town.
Meanwhile, the revolutionary youth in Sitra, Abu Saibaa, Shakhura, Barbbar, Aley, and Bilad Al-Qadeem carried out revolutionary operations , igniting fire and defying mercenary groups gangs. Revolutionaries in Buri town burned the pictures of the criminal Hamad bin Isa and stepped on it.
The civil disobedience manifestations spread across different regions, as shops closed in line with the disobedience.
A lot of people performed the Jama’a “group” prayers in a secure mosque in the Bahraini capital, despite the regime’s security mobilization in its streets.
It is noteworthy that al-Khalifa’s mercenaries have resorted to excessive repression by flooding the areas with tear gas, which they fired extensively between the homes of citizens.
