The February 14 Youth Coalition reiterated its rejection of the policy of summonses to the fathers of martyrs, men of steadfastness and human rights elites who exercising their natural right peacefully, denouncing it strongly, especially since it comes from a backward reactionary regime.
It said in a statement on Friday, January 17, 2020 that the criminal Al-Khalifa entity that shed blood of the nation’s citizens continues to follow a criminal and terrorist approach, by targeting and threatening their families, adding that it not only failed to hold the murderers accountable, but also pressured the fathers of the martyrs to muzzle their mouths to demand the right to retribution.
The February 14th Coalition stated that preventing the establishment of martyrs’ funeral councils, summoning their parents and even arrests are only images of this systematic terrorism adopted by the regime.
It stressed its absolute support for the martyrs’ fathers and men of steadfastness, urging them to continue the uprising until they have their vengeance.
It is noteworthy that the regime had called a number of fathers of martyrs, men of steadfastness and activists for investigation, without mentioning the reasons. It only demanded them to come to Al-Ma’ariz police station on Sunday, January 19, 2020, as part of the ongoing and systematic targeting campaign against them.
