On Friday, January 17, 2020, Bahrain residents held individual prayers at Imam Sadiq Mosque in al-Draz town, after the regime’ s intransigence to prevent holding Friday prayers for the 195th week, respectively.

It is noteworthy that Al-Khalifa regime has absolutely prevented the president of the Islamic Scientific Council, Sayed Majid al-Mashaal, from leading the worshippers at the Imam Sadiq Mosque in al-Draz, by forcing him to sign a written pledge not to make religious speeches. His Eminence was informed by decision, which targets scholars as part of the sectarian al-Khalifa approach, during an interrogation at Hamad City Police /station on Friday, June 7, 2019, after the regime had claimed that there was a ban preventing the prayers by the so-called “Jaafari Endowment Authority”, as well as another ban from the Ministry of Interior.
