His Eminence Faqih Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem denounced the US assault on Hashid al-Shaabi ” Popular Mobilizing Forces” in Iraq, deeming it as an aggression against the whole Iraq and its security, freedom, independence, and resource.
In a statement on Wednesday, January 1st, 2020, he said that this aggression would compromise the Iraq’s sovereignty, and the right to live in peace and security. It undermines all religious and human values that no life without them.
It is very painful and shameful that some of the Arab regimes that are part of the Islamic nation declare officially their support of this aggression, side-by-side with Israel, and condemn those who defend Iraq and its territories, he added.
