Human rights activists reported that building 14 in Joe prison (ward 2) has been searched in the early hours of Wednesday morning, November 27, 2019. The inspection ended up at the dawn prayers, around 4 am.
The inspection targeted “cells 8 and 10”, where the guards have confiscated the property of the prisoners and their belongings and destroyed other things, amid protest of the prisoners of conscience, who were forced out of their cells and stand up until the completion of the inspection, along with threats, solitary confinement, intimidation by the guards in charge of the inspection. The timing of the inspection coincides with the timing of the arrest to remind them that they control their sleep as they control their destiny.
