Al-Khalifa Public Prosecutor’s Office decided on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 to arrest of His Eminence Sheikh Saeed Asfour for the 15 days pending investigations.
The regime summoned His Eminence on Tuesday to investigate him, as part of the ongoing investigations against scholars and preachers on the backdrop of the revival of Ashura.
Earlier, Al-Khalifa regime summoned dozens of scholars and preachers since the beginning of Ashura month, where some of them were arrested and other banned from the revival of this occasion.
