Though al-Khalifa regime clamped down on the Bahraini capital Manama for intimidating the mourners, thousands of Bahraini “Husseinis” held the central prayer on the night of Muharram.
The streets of Manama were crowded with the faithful masses of Hussein that headed towards the mosques since the afternoon to participate in the Central prayer. The worshipers shouted with calls such as “We are in your side O’ Hussein”, raising pictures of Ayatollah Qasim, and awaiting his speech.
Meanwhile, February 14 coalition called on the masses of the faithful people to take part widely in the Central Tenth Night Prayer in the Bahraini capital Manama, in an affirmation to defend and preserve Ashura manifestations and adhere to the revival of this occasion.
