On Saturday, August 7, 2019, civilian militias affiliated with the Ministry of Terrorism of the regime, arrested the father of the martyr Husam al-Haddad from his home upon his return from hospital.
Earlier, the regime had threatened the father of the martyr to arrest if he did not remove the image of his son, which was attached to the family funeral, causing him a setback that led him to be taken to the hospital.
In the context of targeting the families of the martyrs and the men of steadfastness, the regime also summoned the father of the martyr Sayed Hashem, Hajji Samoud, and Professor Ali Muhanna for investigation.
For its part, February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition denounced these systematic acts against the families of the martyrs, affirming their right to avenge the blood of their sons, and pledging to continue the revolution until achieving its goals.
