The town of Ma’ameer witnessed widespread protests against the arbitrary measures taken by al-Khalifa mercenaries to prevent the manifestations of Imam Hussein’s Ashura (peace be upon him) in the town of Karzakan, where the revolutionaries confronted these mercenaries who attacked Ashura banners.
These attacks on religious rituals, as every year in Ashura, continue the abhorrent sectarian approach.
For its part, February 14 coalition called on people to confront the mercenaries in defense of the religious rituals and Ashura ceremony.
