The Political Bureau of February 14 Coalition issued a statement condemning the systematic abuses against the prisoners of conscience in the repressive al-Khalifa regime’s prisons , which are intended to break the resolve of the revolutionary prisoners.
On Monday, August 19, 2019, the Coalition confirmed that disturbing reports have shown that some detainees are suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding and heart disorders due the lack of health care. This move came by the unjust regime’s head, Hamad Al-Khalifa and his Minister of War, to subdue the revolution and liquidate thousands of political detainees with the help of their British and American allies.
The political bureau said the head of the repressive regime and his Interior Minister are subject to full liability for the safety of all political detainees, calling on all elites, international bodies and decision-makers to assume their responsibilities and to intervene quickly to stop these daily calamities practiced by the regime’s officials against political prisoners, affirming their natural right to freedom. It also sent a message to these heroes who fight “the empty bowel battle” as saying: You are the victors and every one of our people is with you until you have tour freedom.
