People of the town of Diraz held an individual prayer at Imam al-Sadiq Mosque “P”, due to the ban imposed by al-Khalifa regime on holding the largest Friday prayer for the 173rd consecutive week.
This decision comes as part of the war launched by the regime against the rites of religion, while it pretends in front of the international forums that it follows the tolerance policy with the religions, to cover up its rush to normalize the relationships with the Zionist entity.
It is noteworthy that al-Khalifa regime has forcibly prevented the Chairman of the Islamic Scientific Council, Sayed Majid Al-Meshaal, from leading the prayers at the Imam Sadiq Mosque “P” in Diraz town , and compelled him to sign a written pledge not to deliver religious sermons.
His Eminence was informed by this decision, which targets scientists, when he was interrogated at Hamad Police Station on Friday, June 7, 2019, as al-Khalifa regime claimed that there is a ban on holding the prayer by the so-called “Department of Jaafari’s Endowment”, as well as another one by the Ministry of Interior.
