According to human rights reports, the four releases, Amira al-Qashmi, Faten Hussein, Hamida Juma, Mona Habib, began on Thursday August 15, 2019 to implement alternative penalties for the remainder of their sentences handed down by the regime’s illegal courts against them on political charges.
The sources pointed out that the 4 releases went to the Ministry of Health to start the jobs, which will be in return for the remaining provisions and without a salary.
It is noteworthy that al-Khalifa regime released on August 8, 2019 the prisoners of conscience ,Amira al-Qashami, Faten Hussein, Hamida al-Khor, Mona Habib, after spending about two and a half years in the prison. They were arrested in February 2017 on charges of sheltering haunted people, and the regime’s courts sentenced them to five years in prison.
Additionally, the 6 prisoners of conscience are still languishing in prisons on political and fabricated charges: Hajar Mansour, Madina Ali, Zakia al-Barbouri, and the three sisters Amal, Fatima and Iman Ali.
