The families of prisoners of conscience received Eid al-Adha this year, as every year, since the eruption of the revolution, with pain and grief for the separation of their sons.
However, some of these families have lost more than one of their members that are held in al-Khalifa prisons with hundreds other detainees, brothers or fathers and children, reflecting the arrogance of al-Khalifa regime, which does not respect the sanctity of human customs or religion.
In this context, the family of the two brothers Saad Khalaf, convicted to 7 years imprisonment, and Mahdi Khalaf, convicted for life, on political charges said that there is no taste for the holidays without them, especially that Mehdi was seen with handcuffs and shackles on his legs. His brother Mahdi was tortured for 24 days with electricity and so brutally beaten, that the doctor at the military hospital asked him after examining him: How comes you still alive?
It should be noted that among the detained families are the three sisters, Amal, Iman, Fatima Ali, and Hajar Mansour and her son, Sayed Nizar.
