Al-Khalifa regime released the four prisoners of conscience, Amira al-Qashmi, Faten Hussein, Hamida al-Khor, Mona Habib, after spending about two and a half years in prison.
The release decision came after the regime was agreed to replace the remaining of these unjust sentences with alternative penalties including community service or enrollment in rehabilitation programs.
It is noteworthy that the four detainees were arrested in February 2017 on charges of sheltering hunted people, and they were sentenced to 5 years in prison by the illegitimate courts of al-Khalifa regime.
Earlier, al-Khalifa regime had rejected a request to replace the verdicts of the three detained sisters , Amal , Fatima and Iman Ali, with alternative penalties.
