On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, al- Khalifah Court issued a three-year prison term for three citizens on charges of transferring funds and distributing them to youngmen wanted by the regime, and fined them 100,000 dinars.
In a separate context, three citizens were sentenced between 2 and 6 months in prison for “distributing leaflets to the 14 February Coalition” alleging thseleaflets call for the closure of shops in the Malikiyah town. The publications were written in several languages and belong to the 14 February Coalition. They accused of “possession of publications promoting regime change”.
