The mother of the cancer patient, Elias Al-Mulla, announced on Tuesday, 9 July 2019, that she would break her hunger strike after the administration of the central prison of Joe has accepted her demand to take her son to hospital for treatment.
The mother, who took this courageous step, said that she received a call from Elias Tuesday morning confirming that he was transferred to a doctor, that promises to resume the treatment and continue with the s physical therapy.
“After harsh times that I experienced with my son’s participation in the hunger strike, I gave up after he was asked” she added.
Meanwhile, the women’s Committee of February 14 Coalition has hailed the mother of the prisoner of conscience ,Elias Mulla, for her patience and tolerance, praising her participation in the hunger strike.
