The Women Committee of February 14 Coalition has saluted the released prisoner, Hadeer al-Abadi, for her patience and steadfastness in the prisons of Al-Khalifa regime.
The Committee said in a statement on Thursday, June 27, 2019 that al-Abadi, was detained unjustly for more than 6 months and deprived of seeing her family for months on malicious and groundless charges. Her suffering was doubled, as her brother Ahmed was in detention too, nevertheless, she persisted on resisting the ruling regime in Bahrain.
It praised her position alongside with other female detainees who are enduring the difficulties and suffering in Al-Khalifa prisons on a purely political charges, stressing their right to have freedom.
