The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the people of Bahrain for their support and solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the disastrous Zionist-American deal, and the attempts of liquidating the just cause of Palestine and the exchange of their rights with politicized money.
Hamas said, in a press statement on Thursday, June 27, 2019, that this support for Palestine is not surprising and not strange to the people of Bahrain, that known for its honorable positions, calling on them to continue the challenge and rejection of all forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy.
Since early June, and while al-Khalifa regime confirmed its intention to host Manama conference that aims at liquidating the Palestinian cause, Bahrain has witnessed upset popular protests under the slogan “No for Trump’s Deal”. The protests were expanded before and during the past two days, to include demonstrations, upheavals, burning of pictures of the deal, Trump and Israeli flags, raising banners and slogans supporting the cause of Palestine. The majority of the areas were subjected to a barbaric campaign of raids and incursions resulted in the arrest of dozens of citizens because of their rejection of normalization with the Zionists.
