Since early June, until the date of Manama conference – Peace for Prosperity, which aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause, the network of monitoring raids documented more than 25 cases of arrests among citizens in different towns of Bahrain that have been subjected to raids by mercenary groups against the backdrop of escalating the popular movement that rejects the conference and the deal of the century.
The detainees are: Abd al-Hadi Rajab from Manama, Sadiq Jafar al-Madh from Iskan Jadhafs, Hussein Abdul Amir from Abu Qawa, Sayed Muhammad al-Mohafaza from Daiya, Abbas Ali al-Zaki from Muqabah, Hamza Issa Radhi from Jadhafs, Fadel Abbas Abdul Rasul, Ahmad Salman al-Abbasi and Hassan Ali Mahdi of Karzakan.
In its report on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, it stated that two days before the conference, the al-Khalifa regime carried out the arrests. The arrests included: Ahmad al-Sheikh, Ahmad Jaafar, Hamid Sarhan, Ahmad al-Qayim, Ahmad Qambar, Jafar Sarhan, Ali Hassan, Ahmad al-Huda, , Sadiq al-Nasak, Muhammad al-Mulla, Sayed Hassan Sayed Mohsen from Muqaba, Hussein Adel Rabie from Darraz, Sayed Murtada Syed Jafar, Sayed Ayman Sayed Mustafa, Abdullah Mohammed Abdullah, Morteza Ali Ferdan, Mujtaba Ali Ferdan, From Sarr, and Husayn Issa al-Adaab from Darraz.
Additionally, the three young men; Mahmoud Rabie, Wajeeh Mousa Al-Kamar from Daraz and Salman Zaki from Abu Saiba were arrested on Thursday (June 27th).
Al-Khalifa regime also summoned scholars and preachers, and arrested some of them for a week. It also arrested the pilgrim Mohammad Reza Ahmad Hussein and Ali Abdul Razaq Hassan for taking part in Medan al-Fidaa sit-in .
According to the monitoring network, some of these detainees were later released, while the contacts with the other detainees have been cut off for more than 10 days.
