The director of the political bureau of February 14 coalition in Beirut, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi, said that the continued ban on Friday prayers in Al-Duraz town in Bahrain confirms that today’s disagreement between the Bahraini people and al-Khalifa government is no longer a political disagreement.
On Friday, June 7, 2019, and via the program “Talk of Bahrain” on Al-Alam Satellite channel, Al-Aradi said that it is not surprising that the one who destroys mosques and Husayniyat, prevents Friday prayers for Muslims. He pointed out that the stories of torture against scientists in Bahrain’s prisons are many, including those suffering from chronic disease. And the free scholars are unable to speak freely today, referring to the summonses of a number of scholars and preachers in the month of Ramadan on the backdrop of their religious sermons.
Dr. Al-Aradi added that 10 years of resistance in Bahrain has been able to reveal the masks of the regime and its deep policy that exerting pressure on certain social segments. He pointed out that Bahrain has become a place hosting an auction for the sale of Palestine, and he wondered: Who will hold the ruling family in Bahrain the accountability?
It is noteworthy that al-Khalifa entity had prevented Friday prayers in the mosque of Imam Sadiq in Al-Draza for the 163rd consecutive week, and summoned His Eminence Mr. Majeed Al-Mishal for investigation.
