The activist Ali Mushaima began his sit-in again in front al-Khalifa Embassy in London in protest against the deprivation of his father, Professor Hassan Mushaima of the right of treatment.
"Once again, I have to protest to save my father, Professor Hassan Mushaima, who is denied treatment in a notorious prison, and the denial of treatment is a despicable way," he said through his Twitter account on Monday, April 1, 2019.
On Friday, March 29, 2019, Mushaima Jr. has expressed his family's fears about his father's life. He said: "Our feeling is confirmed by the intention to assassinate our father, Mr. Hassan Mushaima". "The denial of treatment is a crime against a 71-year-old man, which is unjust and aggressive act, as he needs to be examined every 6 months and he is not allowed to meet doctors to check on chronic diseases", he added.
It's worthy to be mentioned that the activist Ali Mushaima had been on hunger strike for nearly 46 days in August and September 2018, demanding that his father be allowed to continue his treatment and get the necessary medication at the central prison.
