Ras Rumman Youth Movement Condemns Threats Against Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi and Holds the Regime Responsible
The Ras Rumman Youth Movement issued a strongly worded statement condemning what it described as a “blatant and cowardly threat” made against Dr. Ibrahim Al-Aradi, Director of the Political Office of the February 14 Youth Coalition in Beirut, by an individual named Faisal Al-Mulla via the “Instagram” platform. The threat followed Al-Aradi’s media appearance on Al-Lulu TV channel.
The movement’s statement affirmed its full solidarity with Dr. Al-Aradi, stressing that these threats represent an unacceptable attempt to silence voices and intimidate those who speak freely. It also held the Al-Khalifa regime fully responsible for the safety of Al-Aradi and his family.
The statement said: “Such cheap threats and base language reflect nothing but political bankruptcy and intolerance toward freedom of expression,” describing Dr. Al-Aradi as “an honorable national voice who will not be silenced by cowardly threats or the schemes of hired agents.”
The movement also issued a clear warning that “any direct or indirect targeting of Dr. Al-Aradi will be met with a firm popular response,” emphasizing that harming any loyal son of the nation is tantamount to harming all who carry the national cause.
In conclusion, the statement stressed that “attempts at intimidation will not silence the voice of truth,” adding that the people are too aware to be deceived, and that the national project will continue to resist oppression and strive for freedom and justice.
