The Saudi regime continues its series of executions against the Shi’a of Qatif
On Monday, July 7, 2025, the Saudi regime carried out the execution of Qatif native Mahdi bin Ahmad bin Jasim Al-Bazroun, after accusing him of committing “terrorist crimes.”
The Ministry of Interior claimed in a statement that the martyr had committed several terrorist crimes, including joining a terrorist organization, manufacturing explosives, possessing weapons and ammunition, harboring a number of wanted individuals and concealing their terrorist plots, in addition to financing terrorist activities.
It alleged that the investigation led to charges against him for these crimes, and after referring him to the competent court, a ruling was issued confirming what was attributed to him and sentencing him to death (by ta’zir). The judgment became final after being appealed and then upheld by the Supreme Court, leading to its implementation on Monday, July 7 of this year.
